The sun sets on CATALYST 2.

Although the disappearance of Amelia Earhart and Fred Noonan over the South Pacific in 1937 remains a mystery, the Waitt Institute leaves a trail on the ocean floor for future explorers to follow. All scientific data and findings from the CATALYST 2 Mission are included as part of this site, and we invite your comments, inquiries and discussion about our extraordinary journey.

In the meantime, fair winds and following seas to all, especially those who undertake the next mission to bring Amelia and Fred back home.
